Whereas other Phoenix dance studios focus on specific dance styles (e.g. Salsa, Latin, Ballroom, Jazz, Tap, Ballet), Gainey aims to offer a broad, well-balanced program that serves the socially-minded dancer as well as the ambitious competitor. Too many dancers take the time to take Phoenix or Scottsdale dance lessons in only one style of dance and find that later, despite their efforts, they still find that they have to "sit out" songs that they cannot dance to at parties, functions or social evenings out. We believe that our Scottsdale ballroom dancing program is unsurpassed in terms of quality and scope: Our instructors are all present competitors with vast, competitive, experience in ALL of the ballroom styles (Latin, International Standard and American Rhythm and Smooth.) This is an excellent aspect of our program as we realize that not all dancers wish to compete in the vigorous Latin style, for example. By offering balanced coaching in all styles, we allow the learner to flourish in the style that best suits them. We are also very proud of the fact that we have successfully applied our creative focus to the area of making dance lessons affordable for everyone.
