Gainey Dance is proud to be one of the few ballroom dance studios in the Scottsdale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley and Cave Creek areas offering a program specifically for young dancers.
Our program currently serves young dancers from Ages 8-18 years old. Ballroom dancing holds many benefits for young dancers and is a skill that youngsters will never regret acquiring.
3 Reasons to have your child learn Ballroom Dancing at Gainey
1. We offer instruction in ALL of the ballroom styles:
There are a few very good dance studios in Scottsdale and Phoenix. These studios are typically limited by the experience of their instructors and only really offer good coaching in one or two of the ballroom dance styles (e.g. Latin, Smooth or Rhythm.) Our professional instructors have not only competed in a variety of styles but as a team, our instructors are truly experienced in teaching all four ballroom styles: Latin, Standard, Smooth and Rhythm. We believe this to be one of the greatest assets that sets us apart from our competitors.
Why does this matter? The last place to limit options is at the grass roots level. One can never tell which of the styles will most resonate with your child - it is always best to offer a variety and then let them bloom in one or more styles as they gain experience.
2. Our instructors are experienced in teaching kids:
Irina Domokurova, our lead youth coach, is very talented and experienced with children, having taught, successful, young dancers throughout the world.
Why does this matter? Obviously, teaching kids and adults to dance are two very different skills!
3. Our youth dance programs are the most reasonably priced:
It will be hard to find a dance studio in phoenix, scottsdale, paradise valley or cave creek that offers a better value in terms of the quality of the instruction your child will receive for a great price.
Why does this matter? Particularly if you are from a large family, paying for your children's extra-curricular activities can be costly. Our classes are priced to move us toward our goal of teaching as many kids as possible to ballroom dance.
