Many couples are filled with anxiety regarding their "First Dance". Very few couples have ever really danced together for fun... much less on camera... on the most special day of their lives... on an empty dance floor... in front of a bunch of spectators! If you are about to get married, this last sentence has likely got you hyperventilating already. Don't worry! Here are some basic tips to get you started on the right track:

Don't leave it until the last minute! (we recommend that you ideally allow for a minimum of 8-12 weeks of practice before the big day. We have, in emergency situations, coached couples with as little as 4 weeks left.)

If you have already selected your song bring it with you on day one. (If not, we will gladly help you with your music selection to best present you as a couple.)

Relax! Learning to dance together will likely be one of the more fun parts of your wedding preparation. Also, we have done it many times before - you will look your best... leave it to us!

Don't worry about selecting an exact style of dance - if you are certain about a specific style, we will gladly coach you to make it looked polished and natural, if not, we will help you select from a wide range of dances... our goal is to make it look and feel natural and enjoyable.
